The 2017 Contestable funding round is now open
The Resilience Challenge is conducting an open contestable process that invites proposals for research that will contribute measurable and significant progress towards the Resilience Challenge Mission and is aligned to one or more of the existing Challenge programmes. We encourage ideas in education and outreach, programmes to build active consortia of end-users and researchers, as well as underpinning natural hazards resilience research.
Investment priorities for this funding include:
1. New natural hazard resilience tools that extend from theory to practice
2. Maori-specific natural hazard resilience
3. Building public and policy awareness and acceptance of resilience
4. Resilience initiatives for enterprise
5. Resilient infrastructure
Applications close at 5pm on 24 March 2017.
